Paras Shah kindly met us for lunch along with a good friend Navin. I had brought with me a Native American fetish of a bear as a gift to the Prince. He seemed grateful to receive the gift, and was very interested to hear the meaning of the bear.
As the conversation went along, the Prince put a unique item onto the table. At first, I thought it was simply a work of art. However, it turned out to be his cigarette lighter. I commented on it and humbly he gave it to me. He said he felt that one gift deserves another.
The center disc is a wheel that spins, depending on the direction that you move it. It’s a wonderful reminder of our enlightening and engaging conversation. He’s certainly regal, but also easily relatable. What an experience. And we expect to get together again.
