COVID 19 Navajo Hope Project
Bringing Girls Confidently to Womanhood
Women To Be delivers reusable menstrual hygiene kits and reproductive health education to elevate the quality of life for girls and young women around the world.
Nepal, Mexico, Zambia, and the Navajo Nation of New Mexico.
In Nepal, we trained and now employ 22 refugee women to sew ‘kits’ of washable sanitary pads and underwear.
Girls who Receive 'Kits' are Better Able to:1. Get an Education and Learn a Skill
2. Become Economic Drivers in their Communities
3. Delay Marriage
4. Participate in Community Activities and Decisions
5. Develop Dignity and Self-Confidence
6. Be Strong Role Models for their Children
All this for $48!
